Artificial Intelligence Policy

The short version

• The chat assistant is an AI program, not a lawyer, and not Season or an employee of Spanski Law.
• Calls may be answered by an automated assistant that uses AI.
• Legal advice, legal research, and clients' legal documents are handled by Season, not by AI tools.
• Nothing an AI assistant says is legal advice, and using one does not make the user a client.
• A person can reach the firm without AI by emailing season@spanskilaw.com.

The chat assistant

The chat assistant is run by the firm's client-intake provider. It shares general information and helps visitors request a consultation. Its answers may be incomplete or wrong.

It cannot tell a person what to do, and chatting creates no attorney-client relationship. Do not share confidential details such as account numbers, Social Security numbers, or health information. If a lawyer already represents a person in the matter, that person should speak with that lawyer.

Conversations are shared with the firm, and Spanski Law is responsible for what the assistant says. If something seems wrong, ask Season directly.

Phone calls

An automated assistant may take messages, answer general questions, and help arrange a call back. Calls may be recorded and transcribed. The automated assistant is not a lawyer.

Legal work for clients

Spanski Law does not use generative AI tools, such as AI chat or drafting programs, to give legal advice, to research the law for a client's matter, or to prepare or review clients' legal documents. That work is done by Season. Client files and confidential client information are not entered into generative AI tools.

This policy will be updated before that practice changes. Any future use would follow the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.

Information provided through the chat or phone line is not sold and is not used to train AI models.

Other companies' AI search or summary tools may describe this site. Those summaries are outside the firm's control and can be incomplete or wrong.

Changes to this policy

Spanski Law may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
